On the 2nd June 2013, I along with Mehrdad sensei travelled to York to train under Paul Giannandrea 6th Dan, (Chief Instructor to JKS Scotland). On the Course we were treated to the Kata “Unshu” the Shito-Ryu version to Kata “Unsu”. Paul Sensei’s teaching was simply fantastic and most enjoyable. We studied the Kata for 3 hours, Paul Sensei really went into fine detail explaining there is a Male and Female version to the Kata. We did many, many reps of each sequence to the Kata which was really hard work. I would like to thank Paul Brant Sensei for organising such an enjoyable course! Osu!
