On the 7th November, a squad of 33 Akashi members travelled to Burnley to compete in the first WTKO GB National Championships. It is so difficult to pin point the best part of the day as the club came away with so many medals!! From our 3 Tigers, whom all walked away with medals to our Veteran competitors, the Akashi Dojo were absolutely outstanding! The Akashi Dojo has certainly grown into a great club, and we have now proved we can certainly hold our own against the best. Unfortunately i was judging most of the day and missed witnessing many of our students compete. However, the camaraderie shown on the day was fantastic.
I am so grateful to Parents who cheered our competitors on, and extremely proud of our students who supported each other. Well done all!
