On Saturday the 14th November, the Akashi Dojo hosted Gabriel Van Rel Sensei 3rd Dan. The first class focused on Kata Heian Nidan concentrating on hidden Bunkai (applications). It was clearly visible who has influenced Van Rel Sensei, and it was a great pleasure to watch him turn this into his own unique style of teaching.
