A.S.K.A. support your team at the FEKO Nationals on Sunday 12 February 2017

I know there were many Parents who wanted to see how fast Kat can really move, well you have a chance!! We are competing at the FEKO National Championships next Sunday in Sheffield, where Kat will be a competitor. All are welcome to attend. Details are: Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheaf Street, Sheffield, S1 2BP 9.30am start.

On Saturday the 4th February, the Akashi Dojo hosted WUKF British, European, and World Kumite Champion Kat Fewster Sensei. Katshowed the classes why she is clearly at the top of her game on the Tatami! Her fluid movement is a pleasure to watch, and all who attended thoroughly enjoyed the day.

There were many of our juniors in attendance, including many of our white belts whom have only just started to learn Karate. The juniors were fantastic and a credit to themselves and the A.S.K.A! Kat Sensei made time for everyone, and certainly made everyone feel at ease. I would sincerely wish to thank everyone who attended, and thank you for your support. For the ones who did not attend, you missed a fantastic course, training under one of the Worlds best! I am already in the process of hosting Kat again, this time it will be an open course.

Group photo at the end of the 1st session Akashi Shotokan always look after our visiting Instructors. Kat is a very keen Leeds Rhinoʼs supporter. My Uncle kindly arranged for a signed shirt from the Rhinoʼs team. Kat was absolutely delighted with the gift. Nilar Than. Club member Nilar Than was awarded Student of the Month for January, and was presented with a certificate by Kat Sensei. I am sure all will congratulate Nilar the next time in class. Well done Nilar, and keep up the good work!
