After a very busy day on the 19th, our members were on the road again, this time to attend the UWK Championships, held in Sheffield. This event is a serious high level Competition, with the very best of England, Scotland, and Wales Karate-Ka in attendance.
Our Competitors were Shelly Collinson, Tonicka Virdee, Kirsty Norman, Kai Yuasa, and myself (Ian Gallagher Sensei attending as an official). All our students representing FEKO England / Akashi Dojo should feel extremely proud of themselves, and please continue the great work.
Unfortunately, I missed out on seeing the Akashi members compete as I was busy coaching the FEKO England team on the day (please accept my apologies), although i know you all did a great job! Well done to Shelly Collinson Sensei who secured a Bronze medal on the day, congratulations from all at A.S.K.A!
